Pronunciation: Zhāng Zhèngfēi [ʈʂə̂ŋ féi]

I find myself deeply passionate about understanding human minds and machine minds. Both the understanding itself and the practices that follow please me. I have yet to know which is more important. I hope to keep both possibilities open—for myself and for those I love.

I am now building Donut AI as Chief Scientist to bring agentic trading to everyone. I believe trading will exist as long as our society lasts, and that it will be revolutionized by AI. We therefore aim to provide agentic trading infrastructure for the public and for professionals. We are hiring.

I have taught competitive programming at the IOI selection level for years. I have published scientific research and founded a small business and a funded startup, all in decision-making and education. I earned my bachelor’s degree through Tsinghua University’s Tsien Class and was a Schwarzman Scholar.
